On our website you will now find information on the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into effect in May 2018. To find it click into ‘Downloads’ section and select the area you live where you will find a button to download our GDPR information.

You may have received similar notices from other organisations and companies. GDPR relates to the processing of personal data and places greater emphasis on the rights of participants who take part in research studies such as Healthy Start, Happy Start. This is a standard document that is being shared with all participants who take part in research studies in the UK (under the remit of the Health Research Authority) to provide information on how their data will be processed.
